A slight name change appeared in the Norfolk, Nebraska newspaper on Monday, October 31, 1983.  Prior to this date the title was shown as “THE NORFOLK DAILY NEWS”.  The last date for the old title was shown on Saturday, October 29,1983.

The new title was shown on Monday, October 31, 1983 to be a bit simpler.  It was simply shown as “Norfolk Daily News” with only the first letter of each word in capitals.

The old title included THE and all letters in each word were in capitals.
